She said in an interview with the H3 Podcast she had been nurtured by her grandmother till she turned 3. She then was adopted by Kenneth Taylor an American expat and his wife Eden. She said she worked on the family farm for 10 years and did chores. Her family includes two more senior adoptive sisters, as well as an older brother Bryner. The family relocated to the United States in Texas when she was thirteen, with her two older sisters who remained within the Phillipines.
