ndrea Lee is a rising LPGA Tour Star, highlighted with her win in the first major event at the Portland Classic in 2022. Lee was a winner at every level, which includes her college golf experience in the NCAA tournament at Standford University where she earned nine victories, and was ranked for 17 weeks in the position of being the #1 Women's Amateur of the World. In 2019, she won the Mark H. McCormack Medal as the most highly ranked Women's Amateur towards the close of the year, and turned professional later that year. Andrea Lee is a Los Angeles native born in the month of August, 1998. James James began teaching Andrea Lee at the age of 5 how to play golf. At age 8, she began to compete in tournaments and in just four years she was awarded 50 Junior championships. She managed to make the cut at the 2013 US Women's Open, held at Pinehurst No. With her dad as caddie, she was only 15 when this happened. The sponsors of her invite her to participate at the 2015 ANA Inspiration LPGA Tour. She was however just one shot away from the cut. Lee was a member of the USA in the Junior Ryder Cup Junior Solheim Cup Curtis Cup as well as Women's World Amateur Team Championship. In her first year at Stanford University in 2016, Lee became the school's most decorated player at that point. Lee won 9 titles over the course of three years. Lee completed her degree in the year 2018, quit Stanford University for the professional world. Her record for amateur golf was 17 weeks in the World Amateur Golf Ranking. She stated, "I was so grateful for him. It's a good thing that he's following me." Her previous competitions included tennis, soccer, and figure skating. Lee has a wide range of other interests, like shopping, watching movies, and even singing.
